Webinar “Impact of Security Measures on Safety: Assessing Safety–Security Interdependencies” - Thursday, October 9th, 2025

Task 2 of this project, led by Apave Aeroservices, consists first of identifying the security threats that have the greatest impact on flight safety, then analyzing how security measures influence this safety. Although the positive effect of these measures is obvious, in that they prevent acts of unlawful interference, some measures may have indirect impacts, positive or negative, on safety.

The objective of the October 9 webinar, open to aviation industry stakeholders from industrial organizations and national aviation authorities, is to present the results of Task 2, carried out using an assessment methodology defined during the preliminary stages of this project and applied by aviation industry professionals.
