Certification EN 9100
The EN 9100 standard applies to organisations that design, develop or supply aerospace, space and defence products and services, and organisations that provide post-delivery activities, including the supply of maintenance, spare parts or materials for their products and services.
EN 9100 certification has become essential for winning tenders in the ASD sector. It has become the globally recognised passport for all suppliers to the aerospace industry, recognised by all IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) contractors.
EN 9100 certification will enable you to demonstrate the quality of your services to contractors in the ASD sector. You will be listed in the OASIS (Online Aerospace Suppliers Information Systems) global database of suppliers to the aerospace industry.
The OASIS database was set up by the IAQG to enable all players in the global ASD industry to verify the quality compliance of their suppliers' services in accordance with audited standards.
OASIS is a supplier database and information resource that lists all organisations certified to the EN9100 series of standards.

Your questions
-
How much does EN 9100 certification cost?
EN 9100 certification is valid for three years. The duration of the audits and therefore the cost of certification depend on your activities, your workforce and the number of sites involved. -
How does the transfer of my EN 9100 certification to OSAC Apave Aeroservices work?
OSAC Apave Aeroservices must carry out a special transfer audit prior to your next certification audit. A special transfer audit is an independent audit, separate from the certification cycle, which must be carried out in accordance with EN 9100 for any organisation currently certified by a certification body that wishes to change certification bodies in order to continue its cycle and/or start a new cycle. If you are affected, contact us to be put in touch with a specialist dedicated to EN 9100.
You will then be able to detail your expectations and requirements. A technical and financial proposal will be sent to you based on the information you provide.
-
What should you do to change your EN 9100 certification body?
Regardless of where you are in your certification cycle, i.e. before your renewal audit or between two surveillance visits, contact us, ideally six months before the expiry date of your certificate or the date of your next surveillance audit, to maintain the seniority of your certificate and be put in touch with a specialist dedicated to EN 9100. This will allow you to detail your expectations and requirements. A technical and financial proposal will then be sent to you based on the information you have provided. -
What steps should be taken to obtain EN 9100 certification for the first time?
Contact OSAC Apave Aeroservices to be put in touch with a specialist dedicated to EN 9100. You will then be able to explain your expectations and requirements in detail. A technical and financial proposal will be sent to you based on the information you provide.
